So, a few of you might remember a little something I was doing during the first few months of the year; 5ppplx12 – where I would take a self portrait of my family every month. Well, it lasted 3 months. January – check. February – check. March – check (only because my dad took one of us while we were in Disneyland). Then, with April came all the Oprah hoopla, and I forgot. May brought more Oprah hoopla and then the deep depression of it being over…and well, that was it. Maybe I’ll try again in 2012.
I have still managed to keep up the 365 project. Have taken a picture everyday this year. This is very easy, since I take a lot of pictures everyday (thanks to my iPhone) – the problem is usually deciding on my favorite picture of the day.
Speaking of the Oprah thing – it has brought many blessings into our lives (besides being so incredibly famous – kidding – although Mike still gets lots of attention from the elderly…LOL!). We were given free gym memberships from Gold’s (with free childcare for all three kids!), and shortly after the show aired, I was contacted by the editors of MOMeo magazine to write for them! I had always wanted to write something (besides my blogs), so this was very exciting. I wrote two articles, and the first one was published yesterday. It’s pretty cool to see your own writing and bio on another website! See the article here…and leave a comment &/or retweet it!
Another thing that has recently developed, and partly because of all the ‘PR’ I did with the Oprah show, was a new business venture! I was contacted by a good friend who wanted me to be their ‘Twitter & Facebook’ person. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a social media ‘junkie’, so he had come to the right place! I did a little digging, and discovered that ‘Social Media Management’ was everywhere! So, I started a company. TenaciousMedia.com is a Social Media Management company for small business owners and Realtors. I do all the stuff online that they know they should be doing, but don’t have time to! And, the best part is, it is something else I can do from home – often in bed from my iPad while my kids are still asleep! Perfect!
Here are some recent faves of my kids:

Lastly, I’d like to thank you all for reading my blog. Although I have NO IDEA who you are because I never get comments. I know there are people here though…I see the analytics!
Oh! And yes, I’m still doing photography! Time to book your Canola Field shoots!
